To join is simple! All you need to do is:-

A. INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

1. Be For Renewable Energy & Eco-Conscious living!;
2. Complete and submit our quick and easy website form HERE and/or join our Facebook Group here;
3. Agree to immediately start taking proactive steps to start living a more eco-conscious lifestyle;
   
4. Encourage at least two potentially interested friends / family members / colleagues to join the FLOE movement. (simply provide their email addresses when you fill in the form above or email the details to us afterwards – we will do the rest!).

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

2. FREE access to our News page to get up-to-date current ‘eco’ and renewable energy news and views;
   
3. FREE access to our Resources Index for useful links to websites belonging to ‘eco-conscious’ companies/organisations;
   
4. FREE access to our Responsible Business & FLOE Partner listings when looking for a product or service provided by a company committed to FLOE’s objectives;
   
5. FREE access to our ‘Greenroom’ to learn more about renewable energy, green technology and to access guides (videos and documents) on how you can start living a more eco-conscious lifestyle;
   
6. FREE access to our LIVE helpdesk (comments and questions) on Skype (by appointment) or by email;

8. and discounted rates on most of our live lectures / talks / events (advance booking required).

FLOE offers two different types of opportunities for businesses/organisations. Your company can join as a Responsible Business and/or as a FLOE partner.

B. RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

1. Complete and submit our RB questionnaire (available on request);
   
2. Inform all of your staff about the FLOE movement, allowing them the option of joining as individual members [We will provide you with a template email – all you need to do is send it to all on your staff mailing list!];
   
3. Commit to immediately start taking proactive steps to ‘green’ your company (no matter how small the steps, as long as you start taking them!). [NOTE: As a Responsible Business, details regarding what your company is doing in terms of ‘greening’ itself will be publicly displayed on our website.];
   
4. If your company has an annual turnover of less than R500 000.00, it is FREE to sign up as a Responsible Business, although we do request a voluntary donation of R120 per year to assist us with costs. If your company has an annual turnover of between R500 001 and R5million, we request a donation of R500 per year. If your company has an annual turnover of more than R5million, we request a minimum donation of R1000 per annum. (Donations to FLOE are tax deductable and a Section 18A Tax receipt will be furnished on request – view our banking details here.

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS BENEFITS

1. Being part of the FLOE movement;
   
2. Company Name and link listed under our Responsible Business list on the FLOE website for people to consult regarding their desire to only do business with companies who are taking proactive steps to greening their companies;
   
3. FREE access to our News page to get up-to-date ‘eco’ news and views;
   
4. FREE access to our Resources Index for useful links to websites belonging to ‘eco-conscious’ companies/organisations;

6. FREE access to a Calender of Upcoming Green Events / Special dates;
7. On request (and depending on our available resources at the time), we could provide your company with a personalized consultation about how you can start greening your company;
8. On request (and depending on our available resources at the time), give educational/inspirational talks to staff;
9. A FLOE icon/link inserted on your company’s website showing that your company is part of the FLOE movement (optional).

C. FLOE PARTNERS

If you are a company in the renewable energy industry or if your company / organisation is a ‘green’ product or service provider, we would like to add you to our ‘FLOE Partners’ listing. On our Resources page, we show a list of ‘green’ companies/organisations that we have heard about with links to their respective websites (your company might already be listed there!). As a FLOE Partner, your company will move towards the top of the listing (in your business’s respective ‘industry’ category). All you need to do is qualify as a Responsible Business (see “B” above).

As a FLOE partner, instead of making a monetary donation, we request for you (if applicable and should you choose) to sponsor / donate / or loan a sample of your ‘green’ product / service to FLOE for us to use in one of our initiatives/projects. This will be a great marketing opportunity for you and will, simultaneously, contribute to the showcasing of your product/service to an audience who shares your desire to make a difference. Your company will also enjoy all benefits of a Responsible Business. A FLOE Partner icon/link will be placed on your website (optional). Your company name/link will also appear on our Resources page, shown as “FLOE Partner” towards the top of the applicable category listing.
